The prospects for racing from France this morning are very good. The general picture over central and northern France is one of broken cloud and sunshine. These conditions will afford the pigeons an excellent flight path through France. Examining the channel some low cloud and drizzle has been located moving from west to east. This is weakening and breaking  up quite quickly with sunny periods developing. There is a weak weather front lying from south to north through Cornwall, Wales the Irish Sea and skirting the north west of England but is off the line of flight for pigeons racing from France. This front will gradually move eastwards over the country today.  Bearing this in mind the east side of the country will see the better conditions with the west side being affected by cloud. Winds over central France very light from the north west changing to westerly over northern France and then south westerly over southern Engalnd.

The yellow shaded area shows the weak weather front which will move slowly eastwards.

Mainly cloudy with a little light rain at first, but brightening up with some bright periods developing.

Visibility :  Mainly good.

Winds very light the arrows indicating change in direction as pigeons race north.
